Ceramics Int/Adv Wheel (CER-0120)

This course is a continuation of using the wheel as a tool for form building in clay.. Advanced techniques in wheel working are introduced. Prompts will be given to examine the use of the wheel as a conceptual, sculptural and production tool. Creation of self designed projects and research will also be expected. This is not a beginner class, students should have taken CER 102 "Intro to Ceramics", SCP 120 "Beginning Ceramics Wheel" or recieve instructor permission via portfolio. This course is open to graduate and undergraduate students. Non-SMFA students and MAT Art Education students will receive a letter grade.
