Themes may include the resettlement of emancipated African Americans in West Africa; European colonialism in Africa; Ethiopianism; Pan-African Congresses; Garveyism; Négritude; African nationalism and decolonization; African feminisms; political and socioeconomic cooperation in independent Africa; the anti-Apartheid struggle; and Pan-African protest movements in the age of social media.
