Housing Policy (UEP-0113)

This course will provide a review of the history of US housing policy in the 20th and 21st Centuries with a focus on understanding the systems and structures that created and reinforce our current settlement patterns characterized by racial, ethnic, and income sorting. As a learning community we will develop frameworks to support critical analysis of housing policies and programs. Students will develop programs or policies to address community-based housing issues or concerns.
