This survey course explores the evolution of environmental and natural resource law and examines if, where, and how it addresses climate change among several other pressing environmental threats. The course also reveals the challenges presented by the intersection of environmental issues and our political process and the critical role played by planners and policy makers. The course is designed for those considering careers in environmental science or engineering, environmental management, and those looking to participate (professionally or personally) in the political or regulatory process related to environment and climate issues.
