Advanced organic chemistry with emphasis on structure and reaction mechanisms, uses of kinetics and other physical methods, and dynamic interaction between current theoretical concepts and experiments. CHEM 0151 is independent from CHEM 0150, but for students who plan to take both, CHEM 0150 is recommended as the first course in the sequence. Prerequisite: CHEM 0052 or graduate standing.
