Consultation Strategies (CSHD-0281)

This course examines consultation theory and practice. Through readings, classroom experiences, and a change project, students will increase their understanding of various consultation activities. The course contributes to the professional development of individuals in their present and future roles, including teacher, special educator, child development specialist, counselor, policy maker, or administrator. Such roles involve consultative relationships with parents, colleagues, other professionals, and members of the community.
