For students with advanced training in ballet. Technical emphasis on accuracy, aesthetic differentiations in ballet styles and continued detail to musical phrasing and interpretive performance. Continuing with traditional barre and center work on an advanced beginning level. Continued compositional assignments and advanced analysis of historic repertory and artistic interpretation.For students with substantial dance training in modern and/or ballet. Modern-oriented technique, combinations, and creative studies. Aesthetic context addressed in additional assignments. May be repeated.
