The Policy Memo represents the culmination of knowledge and skills gained during the Policy Lab which takes place during the March Residency. While the outcome of the Policy Lab is a policy pitch where students address a policy problem or opportunity delivered through a TED-Style talk, the Policy Memo is a written document that analyzes the same theme they explored in the Policy Lab. The Policy Memo outlines current policy gaps (backed by evidence) and proposes policy recommendations (also backed by evidence) in light of their chosen policy theme.
