Print into Books (PRT-0123)
Spring 2024 · PRT 0123 · Tufts University · 4 credits · Undergraduate
Prints and books work hand in hand. Use traditional printmaking techniques and digital reprographic mediums to build the contents of books that function as sculptural and performative objects. Course introduces concepts of sequencing and multiplicity while thinking about conceptual and narrative possibilities for working with the printed page in book form. Employ traditional and experimental book construction techniques to explore the ways in which materials, process, and form can work together to create inventive works of art. No prior print or book experience necessary. Open to all levels.
