Environmental and Occupational Health (CMPH-0203)

This course discusses major occupational and environmental health issues and methods of prevention and control. Using health histories, students identify and obtain relevant information on occupational and environmental health issues, describe relevant laws and regulations as well as roles of governmental and non-governmental agencies. Students develop the skills necessary to be effective risk communicators when explaining occupational and environmental health risks to the public.
