Explores patterns and causes of sea-level change during the past ~5000 years through hands-on research. Fieldwork to collect coastal sediment and complete laboratory analysis to generate original proxy data. Discussion of why sea-level changes across space and through time. Weekend field trip required. Prerequisites ECS 1, 2, 3, or 51.
