Refinement of spoken and written expression in French through exploration of French and Francophone cultures. Class discussions on articles, books, and films; presentations, debates, and weekly recitations to develop natural and authentic oral expression skills. Listening comprehension activities and the development of writing skills prepare students to excel in advanced courses or while studying in a Francophone country. Recommendations: FR 21 or instructor permission.
