Composition and Conversation I (GER-0021)

Emphasis on fluency and accuracy in writing German across a variety of genres. Review of more advanced structures. Focus on deepening cultural competence and understanding through authentic texts, discussions, and film material. Frequent use of the Internet and student projects involving digital technology. One additional weekly practice session to improve speaking facility and reinforce and expand class material. Prerequisite: GER 0004 or equivalent.
