Topics on Riemannian Manifolds, including Riemannian metric, curves and surfaces in three dimensions, affine connections, and Theorema Egregium. Connections and curvature using differential forms, geodesics, the exponential map, distance and volume, Gauss–Bonnet Theorem, and the De Rham Cohmology. Additonal topics as time permits. Prerequisites: Math 285; or permission of instructor.
