Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Processing (PSY-0253)
Fall 2024 · PSY 0253 · Tufts University · 3 credits · Undergraduate
The neurocognitive basis of language processing, with a focus on higher-level language comprehension. Primary literature focusing on neuroimaging techniques, including event-related potentials (ERPs), magneto-encephalography (MEG), and functional MRI. The computational principles underlying language comprehension (e.g., probabilistic prediction; interactive and incremental processing and decision making). The neuroanatomical basis and the time-course of neural circuits engaged in language processing.
