Fundamentals of research on population-level health and development of skills important for understanding and improving community, public and global health. Emphasis on how to access and critically evaluate public and community health research, develop research questions and hypotheses, identify appropriate research designs, consider ethics in research, perform measurements and sampling, use qualitative and quantitative research methods, and disseminate findings.
