American Sign Language IV (CSHD-0127)

Fourth in a series of courses on the use and study of ASL. Focus on development and expansion of ASL vocabulary, non-manual signals, and grammar features through communicative activities. Students learn how to narrate, describe, compare, discuss, and comment. Continued in-depth study of the Deaf and DeafBlind communities and Deaf Culture. Attendance at events in the Deaf and DeafBlind community required. Prerequisites: CSHD 126 or ASL Placement Test or instructor permission.
