Introduction to the art and craft of writing about music. Exploration of genres and development of techniques for writing effectively for a broad audience. Learning to write about music to refine skills in listening and to develop a deeper understanding of the role of arts criticism as such, its purpose and its benefits to us as individuals and as a society. No prerequisite.
