Pharmacoepidemiology, Bioethics, and Regulatory Policy (PH-0239)

This course provides a broad overview of the interplay of bioethics and regulatory policy in the field of pharmacoepidemiology. The course focuses on various issues, including but not limited to the shaping statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures for the development of medical products for human use, including drugs, biologics, medical devices, and diagnostics, the major organizations that play a role in drug development, and the fundamentals of clinical pharmacology and the drug development process.
