Intermediate Sculpture (SCP-0130)

Intermediate sculpture studio course involving cross-media projects in woodworking, welded steel sculpture and casting, and mixed media. Focus on the development of technical and analytical skills as related to the interplay of form, content, materials, and space. A series of projects that investigate formal and conceptual practices to develop visual fluency, elevated skill-sets, the successful expression of ideas, and the ability to sustain a studio practice. Non-SMFA students will receive a letter grade.
