Performance based exploration of using the singing voice to convey compelling stories in solo performances, with the option of incorporating scripted scenes. Learn to connect the inner life of a character with the musical elements of a song. Develop a thoughtful approach to song interpretation. Analyze and break down pieces from musical theatre and pop genres to engage the mind, body, emotions, and voice. Cultivate an open, inquisitive musical mindset, embrace collaboration with others, and build confidence through regular performances and ongoing artistic growth.
