Internship in Community, Public, & Global Health (CH-0140)

Structured and supervised community health work in a health organization, government agency, community group, or healthcare-related company that 1) provides opportunities to gain professional skills and experience, 2) facilitates application of community health curriculum and 3) provides exposure to community, public, and global health career possibilities. Students select Boston area sites in the public or private sector and at the local, state, or federal level. Class meetings with Internship Administrator and department faculty. Prerequisite: Major in Community Health, second semester junior standing and consent of department.
