Human Anatomy (DPT-0705)

This course introduces foundational knowledge of gross anatomy and neuroanatomy. Explores clinical application of embryology, histology, and joint structure and function and the forces that affect human movement across the lifespan of the spine, lower and upper quarter. Laboratory experiences include 3-dimensional anatomy software, living/surface anatomy, anatomical models, and cadaver prosections. This course addresses the content of the anatomical regions, including the spine, thorax, pelvis, and both upper and lower extremities. Emphasis is on the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal anatomy.
