American Sign Language III (CSHD-0126)

Third in a series of courses on the use and study of ASL. Includes intermediate ASL vocabulary, grammatical structures, storytelling, and conversational behaviors. Students will develop ASL presentations to increase communicative fluency. Special emphasis on awareness of the cultural values and beliefs shared by the Deaf and DeafBlind communities. Attendance at events in the Deaf and DeafBlind communities is required. Prerequisite: ASL 125 or ASL Placement Test or instructor permission.
