Exploration of the social and linguistic variability within and across diverse Spanish-speaking regions, with a focus on pronunciation and phonetic principles. For students proficient in Spanish. Overview of how factors like socioeconomic status, gender, age, multilingualism, and geography influence how Spanish speakers use the language. Distinguishing characteristics among dialects and the processes behind their development, including the impact that pronunciation has on the formation of regional identities and stereotypes while enhancing linguistic skills and cultural awareness.
