Mathematical theory and implementation of graph algorithms and their applications. Topics include basic spectral graph theory, shortest path, spanning trees, coloring, maximal independent set, matching, aggregations, sparsifiers, randomized algorithms, and multilevel methods. Prerequisites: Math 125 or 225, Math 126 or 226, and graduate standing; or permission of instructor.
