Learn to work from, alter, and abstract photographs to inspire paintings. Gain insight into the myriad possibilities that photography offers painters for source material and imagery. Read about, watch films, and discuss the historical relationship between photography and painting. Consider what it means to use digital tools and paint in an image-driven, digital age. Complete this studio course with improved painting skills and the foundation of practice outside of the classroom. Open to all levels; previous painting experience recommended.
