Systems Thinking for Sustainability (UEP-0203)

Examination of the complex interactions among social and ecological systems. Critical reflection on the role of policy and planning in supporting equitable system-wide transformations to sustainability. Identification of programs, policies, and analytical tools that aid decision-makers in implementing sustainable practices. Topics include: basic system features; equitable system interventions; exercises and case studies for skill development. This course is a core requirement for UEP MS Sustainability students and is available as an elective for students in other programs.
