Computational Laboratory in Population Genomics (BIO-0145)
Spring 2026 · BIO 0145 · Tufts University · 3 credits · Undergraduate
Evolutionary processes such as natural selection and genetic drift generate patterns in genomic sequence data that are often interpreted with computational analyses. Research-driven course exploring an open problem in population genomics through analysis of open access data, modeling of evolutionary processes, and/or simulation. Development of computational genetic research and scientific writing skills. Prerequisites: BIO 35 OR BIO 133 OR (BIO 143 and any computer science course)
Course codes: BIO-0145, BIO 0145, BIO0145, BIO-145, BIO 145, BIO145
