Visual Communication in Biomedical Research (BME-0208)

Hands-on training in effectively presenting biomedical research findings through visually engaging and informative graphics. Adobe Illustrator to create schematic drawings, graphical abstracts, manuscript figures, and posters. Various types of data visualization and design principles for creating effective figures and slides. In-class activities involving "see one, do one" practice and peer critiques. Students are expected to be working on a research project and have data for the assignments.
