Conversations on Global Health (CMPH-0312)

Conversations among the instructor and students will explore the current state of global health, informed by the experiences of the instructor. The course will begin with an overview of current global health issues and practice but, being a huge topic, subsequent topics will be chosen by consensus between the instructor and the students. Students will meet after the first session and generate a list of topics they would like to explore in the remainder of the course, subject to approval by the instructor. In addressing these specific topics, the instructor will touch on working across cultures, including interviewing, and on program/service design and implementation.
