Fundamental concepts of computer science and computer programming for students with no prior programming experience but who are interested in taking CS11. Data structures and algorithms, text and data manipulation, simulation using random numbers. Students cannot receive credit for CS 10 subsequent to earning a grade of C- or better in CS 11 or CS 15. Students may receive credit for either CS10 or ES2, but not both. Recommendation: high school algebra
