Creating Children’s Media (CSHD-0169)

Exploration of book-to-film transitions, creation of scripts for children’s television programs, podcasts for children, development of storyboards for ad campaigns, and proposals for apps, and other digital content for children. Application of child development, media literacy and civic engagement theories, and strategies for storytelling in children’s media content across media platforms. Student projects on pitching, scriptwriting, and other topics.
