Introduction to the foundational principles and methodologies of program evaluation, emphasizing the development of comprehensive research proposals. Exploration of various evaluation models and study designs that effectively address problems of practice. Development of detailed proposals for program evaluation, equipping students with the skills to inform the development of new initiatives and interventions, raise awareness of organizational and/or societal problems of practice, and improve programs, services, and experiences within various contexts. Key topics include: formulating research questions; selecting appropriate evaluation designs; and developing data collection strategies.
