Built from contemporary models, this course reflects the interprofessional consensus of core competencies for prelicensure health professions education in patient management including the multidimensional nature of pain, pain assessment and measurement, collaborative approaches to management of pain, and clinical conditions. This course builds on the previous courses within the curriculum on the pain management domains and core competencies that were integrated within the body systems.
