Investigation of why countries trade with each other, using theories of comparative advantage, factor abundance, and product differentiation. Topics may include trade and imperfect competition, trade policy, and trade wars. Each topic and model followed by real-world application and discussion of recent trends and regulation. Prerequisite: Economics 11.
