Wearable System Design (EE-0180)

Advanced project-based learning experience centered around the design of wearable systems for health monitoring applications with foci in four fundamental areas: (1) battery and power management, (2) physiological sensors/transducers, (3) analog signal interface and acquisition, and (4) wireless system design and trade-offs. Labs and projects motivated by real-world clinical challenges provided by collaborators in industry and the local clinical and public health community. Students work in small teams to execute a substantial project.
