Questions and approaches in religious ethics, including philosophical and theological inquiries into the basis of morality. Methodological and normative issues concerning interpretation, argument, and practice in religious communities. The internal diversity of major religious traditions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism) and religious communities' confrontations with contemporary ethical issues.
