Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) personally experienced some of the great events of the 20th Century, interacted with many famous contemporaries, and offered challenging arguments about totalitarianism and democracy, migration and human rights, Jewishness and Israel, modernity and science, feminism, activism, and the role of intellectuals. Critical discussion of her texts, her life, and her context. Comparison of her ideas to those of other thinkers and issues of the present.
