The study of dental anatomy provides basic skills needed to practice dentistry. By the end of the course, students will be able to use common terminology, identify characteristics in each tooth form and the relationship to tooth function, how it corresponds with ideal static occlusion. A tooth wax-up exercise is included to reinforce comprehension and begin development of manual skills.
