Photography And Computer (PHTM-0065)

This course is an introduction to the techniques of electronic imaging as they relate to the practice of photography. Students will learn the basics of digitizing, image editing, and manipulation with Adobe Photoshop. In addition to regular assignments and critiques, there will be frequent class discussions of critical and historical issues raised by the introduction of the computer into the practice of photography. Some familiarity with computers is desirable, but not absolutely necessary. Please see departmental website for specific details. This course is open to all LA + EN undergraduate students.
