Acting for the Camera (FMS-0024)

Performance based acting course that teaches techniques to make emotional connections and create nuanced, truthful performances on camera. Work with filmed monologues, scenes, commercials, and workshops with casting professionals. Learn how to use information such as platform, director, genre, and creatives to determine how to approach performance. Focus on acting techniques, character development and emotionally connecting to material with a small portion of the course addressing the "business of acting" which will include union membership, auditioning, and creating reels.
