The Level 1 badge introduces you to Novel Engineering. Participants who complete the micro-credential will be able to: ¿ Explain the Novel Engineering approach to integrating engineering and literacy ¿ Explain client-centered engineering design ¿ Describe the steps of the engineering design process and the role of constraints and criteria in engineering design ¿ Describe how a sample Novel Engineering project integrates engineering and literacy ¿ Engage in a sample Novel Engineering experience ¿ Be able to implement a provided Novel Engineering experience with youth Assessments will occur after each section of the course and be a mix of reflection on what has been learned and practical implications for the classroom.
