Biological perspectives on human and non-human primate food systems, diet, and nutrition. Particular focus placed on the evolutionary processes and interactions between biology and culture that shape and are shaped by food. Topics include food webs, the evolution of cooking, the development of human social and foraging systems, physical and behavioral adaptations to diet, the science of nutrition, relationships between food and disease, and food sharing.
