Advanced seminar in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, and developmental biology. Reading and criticism of primary literature. Novel experimental techniques used to answer central questions. Topics may include: DNA repair, DNA replication, regulation of gene transcription, cellular mechanisms of maintaining genome stability, protein function and regulation, cell biology of signaling pathways, cell-cell communications, and biophysical controls of developmental morphology. Requirements: Biology graduate students or instructor permission.
