Fundamentals of research on population-level health and development of skills important for understanding and improving community, public, and global health. Emphasis on accessing and critically evaluating public and community health research; developing research questions and hypotheses identifying appropriate research designs; addressing ethics in research; conducting measurement and sampling; applying qualitative and quantitative research methods; and disseminating findings.
