Introduction to reading in a digital age: survey of digital methods for engaging with the human record. Applications of AI (such as large language models), more traditional computational methods and core statistical concepts needed to provide intellectually transparent and defensible conclusions, and key concepts from research on the impact of digital methods on learning and memory.
