This course advances student examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention decision-making and psychomotor skills during a 9-week mentored clinical education experience. The student further develops the ability to communicate with patients/clients, family, and other healthcare professionals. This clinical education experience emphasizes evidence-based patient management and clinical reasoning skills as an adult learner and a healthcare professional as part of an interprofessional collaborative team.
