It will cover games of perfect information, imperfect information, and incomplete information, and develop the corresponding solution for each type of game. Examples will include games of asymmetric information that have been applied in economics to a wide range of fields including industrial organization, finance, labor, and development economics. No previous course in game theory is required. Prerequisites: Economics 13 and 16; or Economics 201 and 203.
