Fall 2026 · GMA L202 · Tufts University · 1.5 credits · Undergraduate
This course will aim to provide participants with a handle on public international law extending to the basic structure and foundational principles that govern the interactions between the major participants in international law, most especially as they pertain to states and to international organizations. The course is designed to address two related objectives. First, it seeks to avail students of a workable framework to enable them to access and understand the major principles and rules governing international relations. Second, it also aims to provide students with skills in legal research, reasoning, argumentation and decision making in the context of international law and relations. Although anchored in international law, this course will be suitable for a multi-disciplinary cohort.
